MISSION.

Our mission is to advance education, citizenship, and community involvement by focusing on the developmental needs of pre-school aged children. We aim to foster social, emotional, and cognitive growth through meaningful play and to strengthen the bonds between children, families, and the wider community.

Uplawmoor Playgroup is a community-led charity dedicated to supporting the early development and wellbeing of pre-school children. Through play-based learning, inclusive activities, and family engagement, we provide a safe, nurturing environment where children grow, learn, and thrive.

  • Advance Early Education through play-based programs tailored to the developmental stages of young children.

  • Promote Citizenship by encouraging cooperative play, empathy, and respect among children and families.

  • Strengthen Community by engaging parents, carers, and local volunteers in the day-to-day activities and long-term vision of the playgroup.

  • Support Families by providing a welcoming space that fosters inclusion, support networks, and learning opportunities for parents and carers.
